What is Liquid Cooling?
Liquid cooling is the reduction/removal of heat in electronic and mechanical devices by using the properties of liquids, it is also called Water cooling. Liquid cooling is a firmly established cooling method in many current technologies. Automobiles, mainframes and the systems of computer enthusiasts have used water cooling for many years. The methods and coolants can differ between and within these categories. Liquid Cooling is the best solution for rapid heat removal. It is one of the best solutions that allows heat removal from critical spots in the modern day computer with zero noise pollution.
A liquid cooling system for a PC works a lot like the cooling system of a car. Both take advantage of a basic principle of thermodynamics – that heat moves from warmer objects to cooler objects. As the cooler object gets warmer, the warmer object gets cooler. You can experience this principle firsthand by putting your hand flat on a cool spot on your desk for several seconds. When you lift your hand, your palm will be a little cooler, and the spot where your hand was will be a little warmer.
The process begins with a pump that sends water into a water block. In smartphones liquid cooling works in a different way basically in smartphones, a closed loop is used for liquid cooling and this closed loop is made up of copper and has a pipe. The rig is less than one millimetre thick but would still be able to pump a liquid coolant through your phone’s guts to dissipate heat. As copper is one of the best conductors of heat which means heat can be passed through this pipe easily.
A liquid is used inside pipes which when heated turns into vapours then this vapour is cried over to the condenser, then the condenser turns the vapour into cooled liquid. Now, this is because Liquid can absorb processor heat and using this copper pipe it dissipates the heat generated. Which lowers down the temperature of the processor using this closed loop and this is the reason why it is called Liquid Cooling in Smartphones. It works in the same way as your fridge works.
Liquid Cooling is used in smartphones so that the temperature of your processor doesn’t increase and Using this technology, You will get the same performance as you were getting earlier. But in normal smartphones when it gets heated it starts lagging but in smartphones with liquid technology feature, the smartphone doesn’t lag even if the smartphone get heated.
